April 11th Canada-New Zealand LeadMeet
Our next LeadMeet is being held on Thursday, April 11th at Earl Grey Golf Club in Calgary. We are anticipating a sold-out event as we welcome a cohort of leaders from New Zealand.
FREE Complimentary appetizers will be served throughout the evening which commences at 5:30 PM.
We invite you to bring your colleagues to join us for an evening of connection, conversation, and collaboration where you will hear from six school leaders (3 local, 3 New Zealand) as they each present 10 minutes on the triumphs and tribulations of their lived experiences in their roles of leadership. The deadline to register is Friday, April 5th.
Please arrive between 5:30 pm and 6:00 pm as the program will start precisely at 6:00 pm (the bar will be closed during presentation times).
5:30-6:00pm - Open Cash Bar + Complimentary Appetizers
6:00-6:15pm – Welcome & Land Acknowledgement
6:15-6:45pm - 3 presentations, leader speaks for 10 minutes
6:45-7:15pm - Networking – Open Cash Bar + Complimentary Appetizers
7:15-7:45pm - 3 presentations, leader speaks for 10 minutes
7:45-8:00pm – Closing
Distinguished Leadership
Our 2023-2024 Distinguished Leadership Awards will be taking place in June 2024. This year we will host the dinner in Edmonton. Nomination forms for this year's distinguished leaders can be found in the Grants and Awards section of this website.
Annual General Meeting
The Council of School Leadership is excited to provide notice for our upcoming Annual General Meeting which will occur on April 15th at 4:00 pm in Banff Alberta as part of the uLead Conference. We are excited to engage in the celebration of the work that has been accomplished this year supporting school leaders across Alberta and to plan for the upcoming year. As part of the AGM, we will conduct elections for table officers and members at large as well as discuss proposed constitutional adjustments that the executive is putting forward to the membership for approval. If you would like to join the AGM, but will not be in Banff for uLead, you may register to attend virtually, by clicking here.
Please note, we will be reviewing registrations and sending confirmation emails with the zoom link to eligible CSL members on Saturday April, 13th. Those who are not members of CSL at that time, will not receive a zoom link to the AGM.
