LeadMeets
An evening of connection, conversation, and collaboration with principals, assistant principals, district-level leaders, and aspiring leaders that will feature a variety of 15-minute presentations from colleagues highlighting strategies and initiatives that are making a difference. The event will provide you with an opportunity to gather with leadership colleagues in a social setting, while at the same time hearing a range of thought provoking and innovative ideas about leadership practices that you can bring to your school or your role this year.

The event will feature opportunities to dialogue, complimentary appetizers, and a cash bar. Registration is free for Council for School Leadership members and events are hosted annually in both Edmonton and Calgary!

uLead Conference
A unique opportunity awaits to join educational leaders from around the world in the beautiful world heritage location of Banff, Alberta at one of the world’s premier conferences for school-based leaders, district-level leaders, and provincial and state education leaders.
This three day conversation on leadership will provide every delegate with an opportunity to see a variety of models of innovative leadership and also discuss the direction we should be moving in as school leaders and systems in our age. A unique opportunity awaits to join educational leaders from around the world in the beautiful world heritage location of Banff, Alberta at one of the world’s premier conferences for school-based leaders, district-level leaders, and provincial and state education leaders.

Leadership Essentials
Leadership Essentials (LE) is a two-day conference intended for school and system leaders who are new to their role, within the last five years, and focuses on the exchange of information to assist them in their leadership roles.

Appies & Insights Speaker Series
The ATA and Council for School Leadership once again bring you Appies and Insights! The role of school leaders is multifaceted and requires adaptive leadership that focuses on teaching, learning and relationships. The first Appies and Insights of 2025-2026 will provide an opportunity for school leaders to hear from educational guru Dr Brad Johnson. The overall goal of the series is to focus on advancing leadership excellence, and to provide school leaders with a fun and thought-provoking evening of food and building connections.
